Cinema al MAXXI - Roma

Basta con il triste appuntamento fisso in palestra: quest'autunno non prendete impegni per il mercoledi e il sabato almeno fino al 6 Novembre.

Perché?

Semplice, Fondazione Cinema per Roma e MAXXI hanno organizzato, dal 14 settembre al 6 novembre, quasi due mesi di grande cinema tra proiezioni di film e documentari, incontri con registi e conferenze. La sede degli incontri è all'Auditorium MAXXI, in Via Guido Reni 4. 

Tutta la programmazione è divisa in tre sezioni:

- "I dimenticati - Grandi autori e film italiani da ritrovare". ( In assoluto i miei preferiti!)

- "Incontri con uomini e donne eccezionali - Film documentari in lingua originale";

- "MAXXI Anteprime - Film d'autore in esclusiva";

Credo che di sabato non me ne perderò uno! Anzi ne approfitto per avvisare i miei colleghi che per un bel pò di sabato latiterò a lavoro! Tiè! ;)

Gli eventi sono cominciati sabato 14, ma si può recuperare con un calendario davvero interessante!

Stop to the sad classes of gym, don't take apointments for this fall on Wednesdays and Saturdays until November 6th. (If you are in Rome)

Why?

Because, Fondazione Cinema per Roma and MAXXI organized, from September 14 to November 6,

 two months of great cinema between films, reportages, interviews with filmmakers and conferences.

All the programm is divided into three sections:

- "The Forgotten - Great authors and Italian films." ( my favorite!)

- "Meetings with exceptional men and women - Documentary films in original language";

- "MAXXI Previews - new films in exclusive";

I believe that I'm going to enjoy all the Saturday! Indeed, with this post I warn my colleagues that for some Saturday i will disappear at work! :)

The events began on Saturday 14, but you can recover with a calendar really interesting!

The ticket is 5 Euro and you can buy it directly at the MAXXI or on www.ticketone.it.

Outdoor Festival - Martha Cooper

Ragazzi siamo nel pieno dell'Outdoor Urban Art festival, una settimana piena di eventi e rassegne in nome dell'Arte Urbana.

Dal 12 al 29 settembre prendete gli abiti più paninari che avete, truccatevi come Madonna dei tempi d'oro e andate a respirare l'atmosfera degli anni 80 a Palazzo Incontro, in Via dei Prefetti 22 a Roma: c'è Martha Cooper con la sua mostra fotografica "Street Sings"!

Martha Cooper è la prima e vera fotoreporter "street". Americana, (l'età di una Signora non si dice) testimone della vita nelle strade degli anni 70 e 80 ha catturato con la sua macchina fotografica segni e impressioni unici della Street Art.

Con la produzione "Street Sings", esposta a Palazzo Incontro, Martha Cooper espone segni e disegni di citta in mutamento, graffiti, metropolitane, writers all'opera, crews di break dancers, la strada e la vita di strada. 

Sono foto documentario, raccontano una storia che va dalla nascita del movimento dei graffiti allo sviluppo della street art con in suoi più grandi esponenti (si intravede anche Keith Haring in qualche scatto) e che ha come protagonista la strada.

Guys, we're in the middle of the Outdoor Urban Art festival, a week full of events and exhibitions in the name of Street Art.

From September 12 to 29, dress up like a punk, put make up on like Madonna and go to live the real 80s to Palazzo Incontro, in Via dei Prefetti 22, in Rome: there is Martha Cooper with her photos exhibition "Street Sings"!

Martha Cooper is the first and true "street" photo-reporter. American, (the age of a Lady is a secret) a witness to the life in the streets of the 70s and 80s. She has captured with his camera signs and unique impressions of Street Art.

With the production of "Street Sings", exhibited at Palazzo Incontro, Martha Cooper shows signs of change of the city, graffitis,  writers at work, crews of break dancers, the street and the street life.

They are reportage photos, that tell a story that goes from the birth of the graffitis movement to the development of street art with its greatest exponents in (Keith Haring can be seen also in some shots), and that has as its protagonist the Street.

Pedalata Polare - Greenpeace

Domenica 15 Settembre, meteo previsto, sereno variabile.

Prendete la vostra bicicletta e incontratevi a Piazza del Colosseo alle 10.

Greenpeace ha organizzato in 75 città del mondo una mega pedalata in nome della campagna "Save the Artic": tra poco cominceranno le trivellazioni da parte della Shell per la ricerca di petrolio. Tutto l'Artico compresi i famosi orsi bianchi sono in pericolo.

L'idea è quella di protestare pedalando per fermare questa vergogna. 

In Italia si pedala a Roma, Napoli, Catania, Bari, Verona e Milano.

A Roma si parte dal Colosseo con un percorso che tocca i punti più belli della città, per poi tornare alla piazza del Colosseo, dove ci saranno spettacoli tra musica e artisti di strada.

La Pedalata è gratuita, basta munirsi di bicicletta, T-shirt bianca e spirito sportivo.

Take your bike and meet up in Piazza del Colosseo at 10.

Greenpeace held in 75 cities in the world a mega ride in the name of "Save the Arctic" , a social- eco campaign against oil rigs in the Artic by Shell.
Arctic and polar bears are in danger.

In Italy you'll ride in Rome, Naples, Catania, Bari, Verona and Milan.

In Rome, the ride starts from the Colosseum between the most beautiful corners of the city, just to stop at the Colosseum again, where there will be music and street performers.

The Ride is free, just take with you your bike, a white T-shirt and sporting spirit.

Now ... http://www.greenpeace.it/pedalatapolare/  and download the excel file to write down all your friend's signatures against this polar massacre!  On the website all the instructions!

Brasil! Auditorium Parco della Musica

Se passate le vostre giornate in ufficio fissando il desktop con lo sfondo di Copacabana, se tutte le Caipirinha che bevete non sono paragonabili a quelle del Nord Est, se la vostra foto profilo su tutti i social è quella del Cristo Redentor, se vi siete iscritti ad un corso di Capoeira e se avete su Spotify una playlist di musica brasiliana, a volte anche di dubbio gusto.... la diagnosi è chiara: Saudade!

La soluzione, oltre a quella della partenza immediata, è quella di segnarsi in agenda queste date: dal 15 al 22 Settembre il Brasile è in scena all'Auditorium Parco della Musica di Roma.

Dalla collaborazione tra l'ambasciata del Brasile di Roma e la Fondazione Musica per Roma, avremo in città una settimana completamente dedicata alla musica e alla cultura brasilera!

Sede del Festival, il Parco della Musica, tra musica, cinema, danza e gastronomia, un calendario pieno di eventi. 

Io e miei compagni di saudade, un bel biglietto per Toquinho già l'abbiamo  preso ;)

If you spend your days with the face in your Copacabana's desktop, if all your Caipirinhas are not so good like the North-East ones, if your profile pic on any social is that of the Cristo Redentor, if you attend Capoeira's classes and if you have a playlist on Spotify of Brazilian music... the diagnosis is clear: Saudade!

The solution, as well as that of the immediate departure, is to sign up these dates in your diary: from 15 to 22 September,  Brazil is on stage at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome.

From the partnership between the Brazilian embassy in Rome and Fondazione Musica per Roma, we will have in town a week completely dedicated to the Brasilian  music and culture!

The Festival includes music, film, dance and food, a calendar full of events.

I and my friends have already taken a good ticket for Toquinho :)

Reboat Race - Laghetto Eur

Save the date!!! 

Domenica 8 Settembre al laghetto dell'Eur ci sarà la quarta edizione ReBoat Race: un'originale regata in nome del riciclo e dell'ecosostenibilità.

Nata dall'idea di quattro società romane sensibili al tema dell'ecologia, la Reboate Race è un evento creativo a cui tutti possono partecipare, basta iscriversi, presentare il proprio progetto galleggiante, costruirlo e partecipare alla gara!

Unica regola: utilizzare i rifiuti! Plastica, vetro, carta, si può utilizzare tutto facendosi guidare dalla creatività.

Nel laghetto dell'Eur, zattere, catamarani, barchette, saranno pronte a sfidarsi a colpi di remi e bottiglie di plastica :)

Se volete assistere ad uno spettacolo creativo e fuori dal comune, domenica 8 Settembre tutti al laghetto dell'Eur con macchina fotografica alla mano!!!

Save the date!
Sunday, September 8 at Eur Lake of Rome, there will be the fourth edition of  ReBoat Race: an original race in the name of recycling and eco.

Born from the idea of four companies, the Reboate Race is a creative event in which everyone can participate, just sign up, present their project float boat, build it and join the race!

The only rule is: use wastes! Plastic, glass, paper, you can use all being guided by creativity.

In the little lake, rafts, catamarans, boats, will be ready to challenge each other with oars and plastic bottles :)

If you want to share a creative show and out of the ordinary, Sunday, Sept. 8 all the little lake!
